Apple has released iOS, watchOS, and tvOS updates. What's new?
Cupertino started distributing updates over the air to its major operating system. iOS 14.7 is now stable. tvOS 114.7 and watchOS 7.6 are also available.
What's new in iPhone?
While the update does not offer many new features, there are a few noteworthy changes. One of the most important features is support for MagSafe battery pack - an external battery. This was added in July. It is compatible with the iPhone 12, Mini, Pro Max, Pro Max, Pro Max and Pro Max.
You can toggle the Podcasts section in your media library to display all or selected shows. The Home app also allows you to control your timers via your HomePod speaker.
iPhone owners from post Soviet countries are exempted from two other innovations. Second, Apple Card holders from post-Soviet countries can merge their accounts to increase their credit limit, view spending statistics and set limits. The Weather and Maps apps now display information on the air quality in Canada, France and Italy.
There are many bug fixes worth your attention.
Fixed an issue that could have caused Dolby atmos and Apple Music Lossless audio to stop abruptly
Fixed a bug in which the braille display connected to the computer displayed incorrect information when creating emails.
Apple Music menu item "Share playlist" disappeared in Apple Music due to a bug
Fixed battery maintenance message that may not have been displayed after restarting some iPhone 11 models.
iPadOS 4.0 is normally released with iOS updates. However, this time it was not. The reasons for the delay are not known.
Apple TV and Apple Watch: Changes
The operating system on the set-top boxes has only been able to fix unnamed bugs or make general performance improvements. In 30 countries, watchOS also supports ECG capture and irregular heart beat notifications. These functions are already available in Russia since a while.
How do I upgrade?
Here is a quick guide for checking for updates on all devices that are eligible for this release:
iPhone Settings> General> Software update
watchOS 7.6 - In the Apple Watch App on your smartphone, My Watch>General>Software Update
tvOS14.7: Settings>> Software Updates
After finding the correct update, the system will prompt you to click on the Download and Install button. It is worth waiting if a new package does not appear. Updates are distributed gradually.
