Coalville Town will now be playing Castle Vale on Tuesday (27th July, 7.30pm) instead of previously scheduled opponents Atherstone Town. The friendly will still be played at Coalville's Owen Street Sports Ground.
Southern League side Atherstone pulled out of the friendly earlier today leaving Coalville with little time to find an opponent. Fortunately for Coalville however Midland Combination side Castle Vale were available and have kindly stepped up.
Castle Vale finished in fourth place in the Midland Combination last season after taking part in an exciting title race against Heather St. John, Pilkington XXX and eventual winners Heath Hayes. There will be at least one familiar face in the Castle Vale side after midfielder Dave Timmins switched there from the Ravens towards the end of last season. |
